But due to Mr. Krabs' greediness, when she asks for a ride she regrets from her father, her dress is stolen by her own father to be sold at his upcoming yard sale, but then grabs it back from him, but Mr. Krabs keeps on holding onto it until it rips. Pearl cries louder than ever before, and runs home, while Mr. Krabs tries to collect the Pearls on the floorboards. Pearl packs up to find a new daddy, and Mr. Krabs must find her before it gets dark. He sells her dress and gets a lot of money, then wastes a couple hours doing many activities and by the time he's realized Pearl is gone (again), dusk is about to end. He runs to the police to find help find her, but he has no ID and gets kicked out. He then decides to print one, and then gets help from the police, who agrees this time. He pays all the money he got from the Pearls, as he whimpers, the cops go find her. In the meantime, she is relaxing at Plankton's chum bucket. She decides to be his new daughter. Plankton is scared of this and thinks of the disadvantages of having a whale as a daughter. He runs off to find Mr. Krabs, who is not at his house, and asks the cops to help him find Eugene. Two teams are now looking for two members, and Plankton then finds Mr. Krabs quickly. He tells her where Pearl is, and Mr. Krabs gets angry at Plankton for stealing his daughter, but then forgets about it and drives off quickly (leaving the cop driver behind, then following him behind with backup.) Eugene and Plankton find Pearl where she was, and Pearl refuses to be Mr. Krabs' daughter unless he promises, and SWEARS a promise. He does, and everything is solved, until the cops arrive at the Chum Bucket to arrest Plankton and Mr. Krabs for stealing a police car. After this, Pearl just decides to go to Carl's house instead, and the episode fades out to black and ends.
