Plot[]
Part 2/2 of a two sided origin story, the short is all about Venice with her rise from a skateboarding career to basketball beginnings.
Transcript[]
[The crane shot returns as the show continues from Adam's appearance.]
Larry: Okay, so before the break. We asked the team leader of The Toon Tomahawks, Adam Smith on his origin story and now we ask the assistant of the Tomahawk team, Miss Kuropato, who is also in the audience! Come out!
[Miss Kuropato (or Venice.) gets out of the audience chairs and into the interview chair.]
Venice: Why can I smell smoke?
Adam [from backstage]: Sorry, me.
Larry: So according to my facts, your parents and your sister are...
Venice: Stop right there, don't even think of there. Between you and me, we don't even go there.
[Laughter from the audience.]
Larry: Alright, if we won't go 'there'. We'll go to 7 years at age. 2000. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 comes out, you go and try skating.
Venice: And I burn all the video tapes and VCR recordings.
[Larry spits his coffee out.]
Larry: Sorry, what?
Venice: I was bad. I bailed a lot, so when I became 12 or 13... I burnt all the video tapes and VCR recordings.
Larry: But. What? YOU BURNT THEM?
Venice: So, when did I come here? Ooo... That was a story. I did start doing basketball before hand, a couple of test runs but nothing as big as Assistant Coach. But anyways, the day I came here was 2007. June, no wait. It wasn't June. It wasn't even 2007, sounded and looked more like 2008. March or April 2008 because Ash came down around a year later for Easter 2009.
Larry: Thank god you got us on track.
Venice: I came as a Assistant Coach because of some reason, I can never remember.
Larry [reading of notes]: Nice bumper.
Venice: I'm sorry, are you trying to get on to me?
Larry: Carry on.
Venice: What's that in your hand?
Larry: Notes from a certain...
Venice: Adam!!!
Adam [from backstage]: Damn it.
[Venice gets up and starts to run off the stage, chasing Adam.]
Larry: Well, that seems to be the end. See you for an interview with...
[The television is turned off...]
Ash: Well that sucks and I didn't get to be in the audience!
