On June 11, 2003 they were created after the first glimpse of a Squidward-and-Squilliam based spin-off floated around (now the large and expanding show Squid Vs. Squid), and they needed a company. Another show they own is Graveyard Shift. This productions company adopted The Mermaid Man Show after original owners (The Krusty Krab Pizza Productions) could not keep up with it. They created one TV channel: Squid TV.
