Squidward's Sanity 2 is the sequel to Squidward's Sanity and is a fan made horror game for the PC.
Plot[]
After Squidward's success of being famous for his concert and finally got rid of the things trying to make him go insane, he goes home and enjoys himself. The next day however, when Squidward is trying to walk downstairs, he falls off the stairs and goes unconscious. In his head, he wakes up inside some nightmarish version of his house with new and similar faces trying to make him go insane and die in the Hospital in reality. To survive and stay alive, he must survive against the nightmares in his mind. Will he succeed or will he die?
Gameplay[]
You play as Squidward like the last game in his own mind. In there, you're in a nightmarish version of his house. You have to survive a week in there. You run to different rooms of the house to get away from the nightmarish creatures going on inside Squidward's head. You have a heart rate. If only goes up if you see a creature or a hallucination. To get rid of the creatures, you have a stuff doll, use it to get rid of the creatures. To get rid of the hallucinations, blink or they will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate. To lower your heart rate, you must find a music box and use it to calm yourself and decrease it. If your heart rate is full or you get killed in your mind, you die and the games over.
Characters and information[]
Nightmare Suicide Squidward- He is the first enemy you encounter. He appears to resemble his self, except his eyes are more darker and bloodier. He now has razor sharp teeth and his tentacle hands have spikes. His color is also a very dark bluish grey. He first appears on the first day and can appear anywhere. If you see him, you must use the stuff doll or run to another room or he will kill you.
Decayed Bootleg SpongeBob- The first hallucination enemy you encountered. He appears to resemble his self except he now has a wide mouth with no teeth, he also only his left arm while the other is missing. His bloodshot red eyes are slightly more bloodier and he has some tears on his clothes. He first appears on day 1 and can sometimes appear around the house. When he pops up, you must blink or he will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate.
Spike-legged Patrick- Another enemy in the game. He appears to resemble Patrick except his left leg is missing, replaced with a bloody spike. He also appears to look angry and has blood shot red eyes. He appears to have pointy teeth and carries a sharp coral. He starts at day 2 and can appear anywhere. If you see him, you must use the stuff doll or run into another room or he will kill you.
Decayed Diabetic Patrick- Another hallucination enemy in the game. He appears to resemble his self except he now has small holes in his eyes, revealing red pupal's. His body appears to reveal his organs and he has a wide mouth. He first appears on day 2 and can sometimes appear anywhere. If you see him, you must blink or he will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate.
SpongeCry- Another enemy in the game. He appears to be a decayed looking SpongeBob with tears in his eyes, he also appears to have one long tusk teeth on the bottom right of his mouth. He's also missing his left eye. He first appears on day 3 and can appear anywhere. If you see him, you must use the stuff doll or run away or he will kill you. He can be heard through his crying, indicating on where he's at.
Decayed Hanging Squirrel- Another hallucination enemy in the game. She appears to resemble herself except she appears to have some fur torn off and she appears to have no eyes. She first appears on day 3 and can sometimes appear anywhere. If you see her, blink or she will laugh and disappear, then jumpscare you and increase your heart rate.
Shadow Squidward- Another enemy in the game. He appears to be the corrupted soul of Squidward based on if he lives or dies. He appears to be a shadow version of Squidward with glowing white eyes and a wide, white smile with sharp teeth. He first appears on day 4 and can appear anywhere except for Squidward's bedroom. If you see him, run to another room or he will kill you as the stuff doll does not affect him.
Decayed Motto- Another hallucination enemy in the game. He appears to resemble his self except he appears to be dusty and is missing his right antenna. His face is slightly more distorted as he has a wider mouth and his eye appears to open, revealing a black,hollow eye. He first appears on day 4 and can appear anywhere. If you see him, don't move or he will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate.
Tri-mare- Another enemy in the game, he appears to be a nightmare hybrid of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Mr. Krabs with the eyes of Suicide Squidward as he also has the head of SpongeBob with sharp teeth and arms of Mr. Krabs. He also has SpongeBob's body and legs and has Patrick's head who appears to look dead sprouting out on the top of Spongebob's head. He first appears on day 5 and can appear anywhere, except for Squidward's Bedroom like Shadow Squidward. When you see him, the player must use the stuff doll 3 times or he will kill you as running into another room will make him follow you.
Decayed 000- Another hallucination enemy in the game. He appears to resemble his self except his realistic eyes appear to be blood shot and slightly more realistic. He also has his right arm missing, revealing veins and appears to have a dirty and a slightly realistic look. He first appears on day 5 and only appears inside the TV or in Squidward's living room. When you see him, you must blink or turn off the TV by interacting with it or he will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate slightly more than normal hallucinations.
InSaNe ShAdOw- Another enemy in the game. He appears to be a nightmarish, shadow version of InSaNiTy as appears to be slightly bigger than his normal self. He has black hollow eyes and a wide, hollow smile. He's also hunched over his shoulders and his arms and legs appear to be long and thick. He know has 8 big legs. He first appears on day 6 and can appear anywhere, but he very often appears in Squidward's bedroom. If you see him, you must run to the bedroom and use the music box as nothing else works against him, if you're already in Squidward's bedroom and he appears, do the same or he will kill you.
Squidward's Mom Spirit- Another hallucination enemy in the game. She appears to be a ghostly version of her self, except with black, hollow eyes and a wide, hollow smile. She first appears on day 6 and only appears inside Squidward's bedroom. If you see her, you must use the music box or she will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate slightly bigger than normal hallucinations.
Corrupted Shadow Squidward- One of the final enemies of the game. He appears to be more corrupted than in his normal state his eyes become red, human like eyes with his left one hanging out. He also has a wide smile with no teeth. He also has some red marks on his body and sometimes appear to be fidgeting. He only appears on day 7 and can appear anywhere, now including Squidward's Bedroom. If you see him, you must use a special light source that appears to be a flashlight, but glows a sparkly, bright light to fend him off or he will kill you.
TrAnSpArEnT cLoNe- The final hallucination enemy of the game. He appears to be a transparent, clone version of InSaNiTy as he resembles his normal self, except appears to have a visual, transparent effect. He only appears on day 7 and can appear anywhere, but very often in Squidward's living room or bedroom. If you see him, you must cover your eyes for a few seconds or he will jumpscare you, increasing your heart rate greatly.
InSaNe NiGhTmArE- The true final enemy of the game. He appears to be like his shadow counterpart, except more nightmarish as he has multiple bloodshot red eyes in both of his sockets and large, spiky teeth in his mouth. His smile is slightly wider and he has a second set of teeth on his stomach. He also appears to be slightly bigger than his shadow counterpart and he has four tentacles with sharp tips coming out of his back. He only appears on day 7 and can appear anywhere very often. If he's in Squidward's Living room, Kitchen, Bathroom, and Clarinet room, you must use the flashlight enough times to fend him off quickly or he will kill you. He will also change poses around that time. If he's in the bedroom, you must go to the bed and sleep for a few to fend him off or he will kill you.
Days[]
Day 1- The first day of the game. Nightmare Suicide Squidward and Decayed Bootleg SpongeBob are first active on this day.
Day 2- The second day of the game. The previous characters become more active, Spike-legged Patrick and Decayed Diabetic Patrick start becoming active.
Day 3- The third day of the game. The previous characters become more active, SpongeCry and Decayed Hanging Squirrel start becoming active
Day 4- The fourth day of the game. The previous characters become more active, Shadow Squidward and Decayed Motto start becoming active.
Day 5- The fifth day of the game. The previous characters become more active, Tri-mare and Decayed 000 start becoming active.
Day 6- The sixth day of the game. The previous characters become less active, InSaNe ShAdOw and Squidward's Mom spirit become active, but are more active than the previous characters when started and gets to the point that these two require the music box to fend off.
Day 7- The seventh and final day of the game. All the characters are inactive except for the new ones which are Corrupted Shadow Squidward, TrAnSpArEnT cLoNe, and InSaNe NiGhTmArE. You have different mechanics which are a special light source which is like a flashlight, covering your eyes, and going to sleep. You use the light source to fend off Corrupted Shadow Squidward and InSaNe NiGhTmArE depending on the room location, covering your eyes to fend off TrAnSpArEnT cLoNe, and going to sleep to fend off InSaNe NiGhTmArE if in the bedroom. Once you beat the day, a cutscene will play with Corrupted Shadow Squidward going near you and turning back to normal and saying " The nightmare inside has been balanced out and shall not return, I may now continue on with your daily routine, thank you Squidward" Then he disappears, but then InSaNe NiGhTmArE comes over and says " Well well well... looks like you survived a week in that coma, but no matter, you will die today! As soon as he tries to charge at you, Squidward wakes up, escaping his wraith and he sees SpongeBob and the rest of the gang, giving him gifts and saying that they are glad that he's okay as he will go home tomorrow. Squidward than said with a smile " Thanks everybody.... even you SpongeBob" and the game ends.
Ending[]
If you manage to beat day 7, a cutscene will play with Corrupted Shadow Squidward going near you and turning back to normal and saying " The nightmare inside has been balanced out and shall not return, I may now continue on with your daily routine, thank you Squidward" Then he disappears, but then InSaNe NiGhTmArE comes over and says " Well well well... looks like you survived a week in that coma, but no matter, you will die today! As soon as he tries to charge at you, Squidward wakes up, escaping his wraith and he sees SpongeBob and the rest of the gang, giving him gifts and saying that they are glad that he's okay as he will go home tomorrow. Squidward than said with a smile " Thanks everybody.... even you SpongeBob" and the game ends.
Trivia[]
It's confirmed that Squidward is actually in a hospital during the accident. But he's actually in his mind.
